the following [extremely basic] stats use only stories listed in the masterlist, exluding meta and gen:
total number of authors: 88
total stories: 266 (this, unfortunately, double-counts any story cowritten by two authors. my apologies, but a statistician i am not)
total number of authors who have written the following number of stories:
