Wow! I was surprised at how little you had to change to get this to happen. Seems like the only difference was between taking advantage of a Cylon to make life better, and killing a Cylon to vent anger.

Gwen is still so innocent, so I love the consistency of her character. The little details like that she had only ever heard of the advantageous relationships between humans and cylons. I love how genuine and sweet she is to Jean at work, and it really does seem like it is this that changes Jean's motives.

I loved these fics. They are a great study in the cylon psyche and the human condition. The differences the lead to either outcomes are interesting to discover. Really great stuff!

Yes, that was my idea. Make both stories as similar as possible in the beginning and come to a completely different ending just with minor changes.

I like Gwen a lot. Maybe I will write about her and Jean again if I find the time and right idea.
