Oh definitely, I always figured that had to be the reason Cain didn't point the finger in canon as well.

*grins* Bashes to the noggin always equal fun times. =3

And I'm glad you liked the journal entry. =D I've been waiting so long to do the image.

The effort you've put into this really impresses me. I wish more people were reading this story.

I love the moment Helena finds Gina after the attack. She's so gorgeous.

I was so worried something tragic was going to happen. I look forward to the next bit!

LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!

*sniff sniff* Things were sooo fluffy and happy earlier.

Great idea with the image. It compliments the story really well.

Oh this is so exquisite... as usual. And I *love* the idea with the image, it's brilliant.
I hope those stains are red wine not real blood ^^

=3 It's actually shampoo. I'm a redhead on occasion, and that stuff is made to keep the colour in. When you just pour it out into your hand it looks exactly like blood, I was so amused the first time I used it.

Oh, Gina...

I loved the teaser of the bloodstained journal page. I also absolutely adore your Cain: the fact that she had to make sure Gina was ok and her half-admitted fear at losing her was so very sweet. But that her final response to the attack is to seek revenge is such a telling glimpse of the dark side of the character we know.

And then Gina's lightning-quick fabrication when she finds the code, her surety that she's being framed when we obviously know that she isn't... I'm already worried for her - actually for when she realises the truth more than anyone else finding out.

The last scene was excellent too: Gina stood at the back, watching, her heart bleeding for everyone in the room. “So say we all” she tried to chant alongside everyone else, but her voice only came out in the smallest of whispers.

Beautiful.
