Love that you made Kare/Laura girl talk work in a framework that feels real. It was understated and nice. And then the phone call... *sigh*

I'm torn with Kara. I don't think they had much of a friendship at all. But I don't think Laura hated her or anything.

I don't think I could write an a/r fic without some phonesecksing. Hee.

I completely concur RE: Kara/Laura.
The are acquaintances..but you made that work here to advance a little bit of Laura's thinking and I appreciate that it didn't feel "girlfriendy."

I never see Laura as the best sleeper anyway. I get that feeling she's one of those people who keeps thinking while they are in bed, can't switch off very easily. I never actually deliberately wrote the insomnia as a cancer symptom. It was more a plot device to get her into bed with Bill. :)

Have I told you lately that I fully appreciate the fact that you write Adama/Roslin RCT? *squishes you in a bear hug*

The first scene with Kara and Laura is lovely, I really love the parallels that are drawn between their love lives. to be honest, it was not something that I had ever considered before, but now that you've drawn attention to them I can't NOT see them.

OMFG. Bill/Laura/telephone are my OT3some. It's not healthy. And sweet phonetimes made my heart melt. And Laura calling him 'honey' made my stomach flutter. <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3

I'm glad some people still appreciate RCT. LOL

Maybe that's why Laura and Kara clashed a bit. They were so alike. After all, they loved the same men really (in different ways of course).

And hopefully the phone secksing seemed real too because it was typical of Laura. Hiding behind the telephone. She can probably say more to him when he's not there actually giving her that intense gaze of his.

I think I'm kinda obsessed with Laura calling him 'honey' in Daybreak. I wonder if it was scripted, or if MM just said it automatically? I love it so much. I think I include it in 99.9% of my fics. :)

Damn, I'm a bad BSG fan, cause I don't remember when she did that. Of course, I can't bring myself to watch Daybreak a 3rd time, so what scene was it :(

It's when Laura's in CIC, and, damn, can't remember exactly what happens, maybe it was when Kara jumped them to Earth, and Laura sort of falls off her seat a little. Bill asks her if she's okay, and she says 'I'm fine honey' or something to that effect. I'll have to watch it again now too! I haven't been avoiding Daybreak, but I must admit I haven't watched it for a while. You could always turn off before THAT happens.
