"Run!" he screams at her, fear sculpting lines into every feature of his face. She throws him a look back which he understands. She'll never leave him, just as he could never leave her. And now they will pay the price - the consequences of falling in love. In love with each other and this world
( ... )
They are in the airlock, they've been found out. And it's all about to end exactly as Sam always knew it would from the moment they all woke up at the nebula. Months of secrets are finally out in the open. He remembers Kara's horrified eyes as they dragged him away, and all he can hope is that she listened, and she'll figure it out
( ... )
Laura reached out towards him, silently gripping his arm, leaving the opportunity open. If he was willing to shred out one more piece of himself, she couldn't openly ask him for it. Her silence would eat up the question, and a part of him, should he fufill the unspoken request.
If he became a little more hollow after this, she would do her best to give up what was left of herself to fill the space. Bill's hand came up to lay across her own, but she couldn't bring herself to look him in the eye.
Freedom. Where are they going to go? What to do? For the first time in decades, they can go anywhere they want. No one to direct in the sky, no one to give orders. Just them and the universe, wide and open.
Not lonely because they are family. Not abandoned but released. A new race. Possibilities, endless.
Will they evolve or fall remains to be seen. They are a collective with their strength being thinking as a one. Their story is not finished.

She moaned beneath him and he resisted the urge to push her head into the pillows to muffle the sound.
Frak away the cancer.
Frak away the betrayal the scarred him more than the red line bisecting his chest.
Frak her, the nightmare might go away.
When she finally stilled beneath him Bill quickly rolled away, but she turned to follow him. Boomer smiled, tracing a pattern on his arm. Another tiny point of connection he couldn't escape from.
They thought love was the missing component, but someone else's love couldn't fill you up.

“You tired Apollo?”
He twisted around to see her glittering eyes and blond hair shinning in the dull light from inside her bunk.
“Maybe, but depends on what you have in mind?”
She coked one eyebrow and bit her lip coyly.
“Why don’t you come over here and I’ll whisper it to you.”
Lee leaned back against the table, slightly wiggling his hips.
“Why do you get off your ass and tell me over here?”
That little tongue came out again to dampen the soft pout.
“No reason… only that I didn’t think you’d like to have more than two players for what I’ve in mind.”
Lee scratched his jaw trying to play it cool… but it was a little difficult in this state of undress.
Kara laughed and his faux pride shattered.
He came over quickly.
"It had better be a good game."
"It's the only game, flyboy," she chuckled.
