For now I'm just snarking the cover because I just started reading this one and am not far enough in to snark the entire book. I apologize in advance if it's not very good.

I guess I don't see the problem with perspective so much. The two right in front of us are super close to the "camera" and Mary Anne and Stacey are way further back. If the football player backed up, he'd become much smaller. I don't think he looks any bigger than Stacey.

What's puzzling me though is the hundreds and hundreds of people in the background. How huge is Stoneybrook Middle School? And why are these four in a big clearing in the middle of everyone? And is that Mallory looking sad in a pink dress on the very left hand side?

Oh, and once again Mary Anne is taller than Stacey. Isn't she supposed to be the second shortest girl in the 8th grade!?

...not to mention, there's like 500 kids packed in there like cattle, but somehow, MA and Stacey managed to find empty space to watch all the action...

A), Stacey looks facially like Keira Knightley, whom I detest. B), I think she's supposed to be Lily Munster, who did have white streaks in her hair. The Addams Family > The Munsters x infinity. You loser, Stacey.
C), please tell me Mary Anne dressed Tigger up as a dog so he could play Toto.

I'm so glad I've read this book, because it sooo looks like the front couple are having a bit of rumpy-pumpy. Sorry, but that man just does not look scared, and I think it's significant that we can't see where the cloaked woman's left hand is.
