Also, the program appears to be in alphabetical order of the participants' last names. WTF? What a pain if you want to see who's playing a particular role.
I would hope that it was just in alphabetical order for purposes of name-checking, and that in the real program, it was in some sensible order, like of appearance, or importance, or something. Of course, as I've mentioned in previous comments, I'm pretty certain that ANM/ghostie had no idea how a school musical would actually be done.
There's only one other high schooler IN the play, the rest of the parts have all gone to BSC-SuesWhich is pretty humorous when you consider there's got to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 500-600 kids at SHS, with 382 in SMS and however many coming from Kelsey... one would think there are at least a few kids who would play Wendy without changing the script, or Peter Pan and being able to memorize. Or Mrs. Darling and possibly looking old enough to be her. Or Tiger Lily and possibly having vague Native American-type coloring. Oh wait... that

In most theatrical productions (not just school-based ones) working with props and in costume is done as soon as possible and as often as possible, because waiting for the dress rehearsal would (99% of the time) be too late. It's important for the actors to be comfortable and prepared, for the director to see what the "big picture" is going to look like, and for any kinks to be worked out. (I once had to wear a dress with a HUGE hoop in it, so until my dress was hemmed appropriately, I wore the hoop in rehearsals. Also, costume CHANGES can be a major bitch and often take just as much choreography as the actual show.)
Many times, the Dress Rehearsal is the first time all sound and lighting operations are added to the production (blackouts, microphones, etc). Also, the Dress Rehearsal usually marks the end of the Director stopping the action to make corrections. And you can FORGET about asking for lines!! Hahaha
I ponder why the fuck Mr Cheney doesn't grow a pair and stand up to a fucking seven-year-old, and come to the conclusion that she came up to him after the auditions and said that if he didn't let her have her own way EVERY GIGUNDOFUCKING TIME she would show Mr Kingbridge, Mrs Cheney, Mr Halliday and the whole of the elementary, middle and high schools the video of Mrs Halliday kissing his pee-pee in the gym. I could totally see her doing that.
OMG. I almost fell off my chair laughing at this. It's so Karen!
