I hated the book where they made Alan a bully, because it didn't go with every other bit of canon we've had (and that's about 200 books of canon if we're counting super specials, mysteries, super mysteries, etc). Like he could be a bit of a dick at times, but mainly he was just a prankster. Sorry, I adore Alan Gray and absolutely HATE when they made him a bully for like a single book before reverting back to normal Alan Gray.

I'm pretty sure Alan was OOC just for Stacey's Secret Friend. All the rest of the time her just pulls pranks. And although I'm not a fan of pranks, his are pretty harmless. It's just that K. Ron takes herself so seriously, any slight against her is this big grudge carrying deal.

We had homeroom in my east coast jr high but not in my west coast one. So perhaps it's an east coast thing? Idk. We definitely had dances at both schools, but middle school dances are weak sauce for the most part, lol.
