Dawn gets fucking pissy that Carol uses that phrase--I see nothing wrong with that phrase. I say it and don't mean it as an insult. And I know at the end of the day it means nothing. She could've said 'ladies' and Dawn would bite her head off since Dawn's a huge bitch

There's so many things to do and places to go besides one or two spots. -I wouldn't spend so much time at the beach HERE. I hate the damn beach and would want to go to ANYONE of the places Mary Anne suggests, but because Dawn has a shitfit, they have to bow down before her.

Now I want to watch MWC. Like, really bad. That show was sexist, agist, classist, sizeist, every -ist under the sun, and you know what? It was fun because of it. How sad that we can't have shows like that, All in the Family, or even Murphy Brown anymore (Murphy is TOO forward for today...!)

Most of the time, the butts of the joke were the Bundys. I love those shows that poke fun of every group there is. Those are the shows that tell us it's okay to laugh at ourselves, and in general, as opposed to the shows that play it so safe that it's stressful to watch them since we're supposed to look for what can potentially offend someone.

The best ones were the ones were the Bundys got into fights with whole families. Cause God help whoever hurt one of them. The show broke a lot of barriers and that's what made it so freakin good!!! Even till this day, it's watched, talked about and loved!!

It snowed here too for the first day of spring. After hitting 70 last week.

Dawn is such a bitch. I'm 33 and use the phrase "you guys" all the time. I wasn't aware there were speech requirements that came with age.

The things these girls are allowed to do alone at 11 and 13 never fails to shock me. My daughter is 14 and the hell if I'd let her go anywhere near an ocean without an adult present. I've barely started letting her walk around our small town of 1700 people with her friends.

Bart is so deep in his self-hatred at this point, he can’t even speak Logan’s name anymore. - I laughed so much at this.

I love how Dawn blames Carol for Mallory dying her hair, but not her father who is actually the adult who's supposed to be responsible for her. I never realized how much I hate Dawn until I started reading the books again as an adult.

Loving this so far and looking forward to the next part :)
