Stacey says that Laine should invite him to the dance and Laine says that Pete is a dweeb--Stacey doesn't know when to leave well enough alone. Pete strikes me as being a nice guy and I don't think his personality ever changed the way they changed Alan's personality. Anyway, why would you stick anybody with somebody they're not attracted to? I love that this comm is so into Roseanne. The series on DVD my husband ordered as a surprise (when I said I was bummed that only 50 episodes are on Netflix) arrived today, and he's ripping them so I can watch them on my studio TV. I got a sweet husband. :D

You know, the BSC makes much more sense if you add 3 years to everyone's age (which would add the bonus of making Laine and "Heart" statutory rape in most jurisdiction, which warms the cockles of my shriveled black heart...)

Most states would allow an 18-year-old and 16-year-old to date. Only a handful of states have no Romeo & Juliet laws (which a lot of people think mean that a 16-year-old can date someone who's 30, when in reality, there IS an age-difference limit).
