Mary Anne is an idiot....and actually gets worse from here.
How the hell hard did Pete snap Miranda's bra to cause it to break to the point that she had to carry it in her purse all day? Also, how did he not get in trouble for it?
Only thing I could think of is if the straps were super thin, like in this Kate Bush performance. I believe both of her straps broke and she's holding the top on by the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJvXpvH2-Hk Other than that, I can't imagine the bra breaking either.
Okay, this was still when Alan was the class clown, right? How is that bad? That might take some stress off if you have somebody that can joke around and make everybody laugh a bit while they work

first: those books you linked!!!!! excellent books, for real. though the first one made me cry so hard. &also i love paula danziger (so sad when i learned late last year that she had died awhile back!)&lois lowry fucking epically rocks as well! of course MA would end up getting a fake author, like, ANN, you&paula are bffs, get her in on this, damn it! (she probs didn't wanna fork over cash, god knows ann needs ALL her millions to be swimmin' in!)
these MA&logan books give me such stress headaches, i don't know how you do it! reading them puts me in a foul mood for ages. next week i'm getting a ton of bsc books (YAY EBAY!)&this one will be in thr pile, god help me! (getting someone's collection - books 1-56, super specials 1-8&the first 5 mysteries. i am jazzed as hell!!) i'mma need a TON of cookies for this bs. but super excited i'll have snowbound while we have a horrendous amount of snow on the ground. lol!
Jennings died too, a couple of years ago I think. I was sad, because it was such a great book and it was cool to meet him and Doggie!!
I love the Krupnik books, she totally rocked!
That sounds so awesome you're getting a ton of bsc books! That's how I got mine, I got like a 150 or so. Almost the whole series, most of the mysteries, all the super specials except the Sea City one. Even some of the little sisters and the autographies. My husband fucking rocks.
I always tend to reread Snowbound when it snows, California Girls during the summer, and the cruise one after California Girls. Eventually I want to snark all three, but it will be awhile, the Peter Pan almost killed me. LOL
wow, sucks about jennings! must've been amazing to meet though. how old were you? i used to write letters to YA/children's authors when i was like, 12 or something&actually got some awesome letters back. (only one was a form letter, can't remember off the top of my head who sent a form letter...) also met one of the authors after becoming pen pals with her (that was amazing, she tried to help with my writing&stuff, but ended up kinda disappearing)&also spoke to jean little on the phone once (highlight of my young life, she was fabulous&sweet as hell. :) ) wrote drafts of letters to AMM many times but never sent them, oddly enough, think i figured she'd totally send a form letter. lol

I was like 13 when I met him, most of my school had to read the book and then he came to visit with Doggie and signed our books. Mine got so worn out, there was nothing left, so I stole the one my brother had when he moved out.
The only other author I met was June Foley at my library. My mom took me to meet an author and I got one of her books signed, but I had no idea who she was. Still never have read any other of her books.
Yea, our husbands fucking rule!! Mine is so happy that I want to collect the books I grew up with for our future children to read. Really hope they like reading, otherwise I'll have to be buried with all of my books.
Thank you for the comment about doing another super special, I just might, but it will be awhile before I do. Snarkers are snarking them before I can, lol. Took me like three years before I attempted a snark, hope you do one someday, I'd love to read it!!!
