I post on Yahoo news articles for articles that interest me. For the most part I'm really good about typing it up in notepad first and copying + pasting it over. The few times I don't do that will be the times that Yahoo acts buggy and doesn't post the comment ( ... )

I looked prices up(current time) on drugstore.comcom and they range anywhere from three dollars to twenty dollars

I always thought Carol meant for Dawn to get her a can as well, not two extra cans. Mousse prices in the 80s were fairly cheap, but now they can be ridiculously expensive.

"Dawn is all like 'I'm a little old for trick or treating-I'm thirteen and in the eighth grade'" I was always appalled at how unfun Dawn is. I Trick-or-Treated in my neighborhood until I was 29 (granted, I had a little brother to use as an excuse. But I damn well made sure I got candy!) And I was super excited to go Trick-or-Treating at Disneyland last year. As were a lot of other grown-ups. Suck it, Dawn.
And her thing with Carol...I just don't understand. Does Dawn think that on your 30th Birthday you're issued a crate of housedresses, "easy listening" CDs, and a lifetime supply of All-Bran, along with a list of approved old people pastimes? Dawn is an idiot.

If I saw someone rob a store in a clown mask, I wouldn't be noticing his shoes. I would be running away in abject terror and they would find me rocking in a corner chanting "Can't sleep, clown will eat me."

Also...I'm with you on the curfew thing. I guess if the MAYOR pases a curfew and uses the police to ENFORCE it, yeah, that would work. But a bunch of concerned parents? No. The world does not work like that. And I am immediately reminded of STFU Parents..which if anyone hasn't seen that site, RUN! It's awesome!

And Holy Helicopter Parenting, Batman! There's a robbery in BROAD DAYLIGHT and they cancel Halloween? Seriously? Is Palo Alto the sister city of Stoneybrook or something?!?!

Great snark...can't wait to see how much stupider the denziens of a certain California town can get. :P
