Laine is a total snob, but I'm surprised Stacey thought that Queen of the Bitches would have a good time in Stoneybrook. I mean, we've all been to towns more boring than our own to visit family and friends, but I don't think a thirteen year old wants to do that when her friend is going to be in school all day and she's using her winter break to go to a different school. FAIL.

I totally remember the chapter about Laine ripping on the home shopping channel. She says that she knows someone who buys stuff from there, and she says, "It's all J-U-N-Q-U-E." And Stacey retorts with, "Maybe she L-I-Q-U-E-S" what she buys. Hahah, I always thought that was so dumb, but I have to admit, that was a good retort from Stacey.
