OK, so I am at work and I’m supposed to be, like, working, but for some reason I just can’t motivate myself to do anything, so I went home at lunchtime and grabbed The Devil Wears Laura Ashley for another spot of snarking.

So Stacey’s just gone home to tell Mama McGill about her new job at Runway the Cheplins’, and K. Ron Hubbard hopes she’ll say

Yup. The A plot of this book is like The Devil Wears Prada minus the humour.

They get home, and Jessi is too busy daydreaming to notice that they haven’t come back from hanging up their coats and are instead talking (and giggling hysterically) on the phone. I reiterate what I said before.

At least that, and the ring thing, are fairly age appropriate, although I hope Logan didn't go to a nice ring store. I'm thinking those really phony rings thirteen year old guys give.

And these girls care way too much about following rules. Especially Stacey. (Although she does crack later and quit...)
