It kills me that Abby's policy about the notebook (write in it if you have something important to say or just feel like it) is a HELL of a lot less creepy than K. Ron's policy of writing about every little thing the kid(s) did or said, but come the end of the book we're supposed to think Kristy's creepiness was right all along.

Abby does the club notebook the way a "club notebook" system SHOULD be done. Reading 3_foot_6's snark of Jessi and the Stolen Secrets made me think of exactly how fucked up Kristy's version of the notebook system is. Abby does it right, and yet of course she's the "terrible club president" because she's not Kristy! If I remember correctly though, the club ends up favoring Abby over Kristy when Kristy comes back in book 100, causing Kristy to throw a giant shitfit throughout the book.

Norman must be a good artist. I don't think I could draw chili, burritos, or tortillas--not that people could identify. It's not a bad idea to have these things on a poster, but I very much that Suzanne had the "fat kid" draw the food.

.... And Jessi seriously needs to shut up.
