Mallory and the Cooties? I literally was on the floor laughing about that for , like two minutes straight! And yeah, I truly do remember the New Kids on the Block one, and how Claudia's book was called "and the great search" or something like that. That's what's funny about working titles.
Also, great job on that Ann & and Friends fanfic! That was some great work capturing Ann's strange-ness there! :)

The inevitable truth about those cats in Ann's bio makes me sad too ): In the way that I get sad when I discover a Youtube video of a cute animal, then find out said video was filmed years ago and the animal has since passed on.

In a book full of Crap Ann Says, though, this may be the most disturbing. “Karen is my alter ego. She’s who I wish I could be.”

I don’t really think there’s anything I can add to that.

I loved that bit. But I loved your little dialogues more. So much so that I was holding in my laughter because my boss was in the conference room right next to me with the door open and I didn't want to just bust up laughing. Ohhhh gosh, I am gonna get weird stares.

I am SO GLAD I am not the only one who remembered the supposed book about the New Kids on the Block! How awesome would that book have been? Although it would have probably been literally about some new family that moved a few doors down from Stacey and not the boy band. Le sigh.

Great snark, by the way, and I loved your dialogues. I HOPE drinking was involved when coming up with these plots.

A beautiful love.

And seriously, the Kristy in the TV show was the best character of all - she was the only one that actually seemed like her character. It always bothered me even as a kid that Mary Anne was so tall.

Overall, Ann has had a really strange life. She's so dorky and weird, and yet she's famous and rich.
