When we last left Karen, she was making a bad situation worse by making her reluctant, bitchy divorced parents talk to eachother via the creation of a problem (the problem being, she's a spoiled birthday brat), in order to get them together for her birthday. Let's see how THAT unfolds along the way...

As annoying as Karen can be, it's refreshing to see someone else who doesn't think she's the devil incarnate. A lot of the shit she pulls IS super bratty but when it comes to stuff like this, it's not for the sake of being bratty. (and I can understand where she was coming from in Karen's Big Sister) Out of curiosity, did you read LS before BSC too? That's what I did, I didn't actually get into the regular BSC series until I was a teenager.

I never read BSC at all. I just watched the show a lot when it came on Disney Channel.
