I posted this a few months ago in babysittersclub, but I figured it was worth re-posting here. I snarked all over one of the TV series episodes, "Mary Anne and the Brunettes," using screen caps from Dibbly Fresh. It took me forever.

the timing of this is absolutely hilarious because i just went back and reread the original entry two days ago!

Marcie's "MMM GIMME SOMMA DAT" is still one of the funniest things i have ever seen on the internet.

Ahaha, right on.

Marcie was such a hussy. But I never understood why she and her friends were cast as the Baby Sitters' "enemies" when they had perfectly good nemeses in the books (Cokie, Grace, etc).

We did get it over here! ABC had it on endless replay for about two years. I had them all on tape and loved them all.

TOTAL word to Kristy being perfect. She was just spot on and the chick who played her in the movies had nothing on her.

Then the credits start. And there they all are, looking at least five years older than their purported 13 (or 11, if you were Mallory/Jessi).

Oh, I know. Mary Anne was taller than everyone and looked sixteen. She's supposed to be short, and because she's short probably looks young. At least Jessi and Kristy look young.
