10/30: Unbreakable Anniversary!

I know what I wasn't doing, and that was studying for an exam because I was way too excited for Unbreakable. I had 3 separate listening parties at midnight with a downloaded copy since I couldn't make it to a store and my CD hadn't come by mail either. God,

I was just coming on to do a Unbreakable anniversary post in my personal journal, but you and Nina have totally trumped whatever I would have done.

I'm doing one anyway though, for sentimental reasons (because I did a post last year around this time).

i remember exactly what i was doing.. i even left a SayNow message jsut after midnight recounting it teehee

I refused to illegally download or listen to it and at midnight brought a few friends with me to a local 24 hour Walmart (those are amazing hah). I had to dig through boxes that were opened but the cd's were not set out yet.. the last of the boxes had the extended version.. and by 1230am i had purchased the cd :D I remember being happy that i was a mere 35 mins away from Orlando (that's where my college was) on the day of the release.. made it even more awesome haha... we rocked the cd while i drove some people home then had all these other random people come over to my room over the next few days to listen to it...

and i never woould have thought i'd be seeing them on halloween a year later or that'd i'd see them perform for TRL nearly a year later... weiiird hah... oh and i totally remember saying multiple times "yay Howie's singing! and sounds great!" and ws really happy they wrote Unsuspecting Sunday Afternoon...

I have a friend who did basically what you did, no downloads or leaked tracks and went to Wal-Mart at midnight :) And yay for getting to see them tomorrow! Did you get a chance to see them on the last leg?

i can't believe i'm seeing them again! it's insane! just saw them on Tues at TRL! (the taping not live part)... and yes i saw them the last leg in Atlantic City... amazing of course.. and now Alex is more shaven so i'll be able to see more of his face hah... and our costumes have to do with the tour.. teehee

Happy Unbreakable Day!!! (And Chapter One day! Gotta celebrate the first chapter of their careers as we're now most definitely in Chapter Two!) One year ago today, I was maybe working lol I was unemployed at the time, but doing odd jobs for someone so I might have been working. I do know I was listening to my Japanese import of the CD, and after my best friend got off work, we headed to Target and bought our US versions of the CD. I LOVE Unbreakable! And I'm glad the Unbreakable days are still going! Although we're all so excited for the next album!

haha! No problem! My best friend and I were talking about it last night and the other day, so that's the reason I remembered Chapter One was today too! lol

If you go to the LA show, I might see you there :) We're crazy but my best friend and I are hitting up Phoenix, Vegas, and LA lol We live in LA.
