So much YES to everything in this post, I don't even have the words. Then again, I rarely have words to explain that voice of his. It's usually just a lot of hand flailing and meeping. :)

IDK if this was standard to all shows (I think it was), but what I loved best about INBYH on the Never Gone tour was the way AJ refused to end the song.

I think the Intimate and Interactive version of INBYH from Much Music yearsss ago is quite possibly my favorite BSB performance ever.

AJ does have a way with a song... like "Lay Down Beside Me". OMFG! To this day I can get absolutely lost in that song. Also, ONE line from "Unbreakable" sticks out to me more than anything else. When I even hear the word unbreakable all that runs thru my head is "I memorized the number so why can't I make the call". The emotion in his voice captures how I think EVERYONE feels in that situation. Oh, Alex.

AJ has this way of making me believe that he won't break my heart. Not now, not ever. And I don't even mean that in the sense that I'm delusional and think I'm going to marry AJ. But he knows how his voice works and he knows just how to use it to convey how he's feeling or the words he's singing. Does that even make sense? I feel so comfortable letting myself get wrapped up and lost in voice. It's like a safe and cozy place I can go to when I need to get away. I've yet to find another voice to have this effect on me.

I love the live version of INBYH so hard. I think my favourite has to be the Black & Blue version, but hell, they're all good!
