I just finished chapter 6 of Dumbledore's Army and the Year of Darkness on Schnoogle and when I got to the end I actually yelled "yes!" and did a double fist pump. Twice. Seriously, this fic is awesome. The characters are all realistic, the Golden Trio isn't even around so the other characters get the spotlight, and it's just so well-written I can' ( Read more... )

It's not ship-central, but there's Ginny/absentfighting!Harry and it ends up with Neville/Hannah and Ernie/Susan.

but if i were to read this. i wouldnt be screaming "yes" i't be screaming "eff yuu biznitch!" as i'm a fan of none of those characters nor the DA :P

I was never really a fan of any of them and I just recently started liking Luna, but if you like Snape you'll hate this story.
