Oh man I forgot how freaking LOUD the movie was. Hah.

But let's talk about that Uhura scene because HEY IT WAS SUPER GREAT. What I also loved about it was that when Kirk got out weapons for everybody, Spock didn't touch his until things ACTUALLY went to shit, because he trusts her competence THAT MUCH. I LOVED THAT.

Good luck with your friend/semi-ex shenanigans; I hope that it works out in the least stressful way possible, whatever that may be! And I think organizing a get-together is a great idea; I'm sure it will go fabulously as you are seriously the best hostess I have ever met.
