Oh, The Office. I have been living in a happy bubble the last few weeks. The finale and few weeks leading up to it were so perfect, such a wonderful closure to nine seasons of a show that brought me nothing but laughter and happiness (minus the Charles Minor episodes, I can't even rewatch them, but we won't discuss that. Idris Elba, just forever flawlessly portray Heimdall, and let me forget how much I despised your character.) I am still in denial it won't be back next fall. Total. Denial.

I NOW NEED FIC OF THIS VARIETY IN MY LIFE, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. OH MY GAH.

IDK if you've read this one,The Observer Effect, but I love the ~Brian the camera guy~ as a character who then ACTUALLY became a character. As JKras said the Snow Patrol medley of clips was an homage to early fanvids about Jim and Pam using Snow Patrol, I wonder how much of that character was based on fanfic

I had drifted away from the show, but it was so nice to come back to it and enjoy such a satisfying end run, and remember all the things I loved about it. And thank you for the fic rec! And this:

I ALSO KIND OF LOVE THAT ADAM SCOTT AUDITIONED FOR JIM HALPERTYES. I HAVE BEEN THINKING A LOT ABOUT THAT. I feel like things really worked out for the best--I can't imagine their roles reversed--but it is funny, those little connections and overlaps, and Ben and Jim really do have a lot in common, especially in terms of being improbably good, wish-fulfillment kinds of boyfriends/husbands. Also I didn't know you hadn't seen the episode where Michael left. I really liked that one a lot. We stopped watching a handful of episodes into the season following that, but I liked how they handled it.

And yes! I remember intending to watch that episode, but we never got around to it. (Mr. McK is also dragging his heels about watching the finale. He is bad at watching the ends of things, it turns out! It's kind of adorable.) It was incredibly well done, and felt like the perfect send-off. I cried many tears!

I have never actually watched The Office, but that lip-sync off has made me a HUGE fan of JKras. This is unfortunate as I really don't need to start watching a cancelled show that ran for 9 seasons! I thoroughly enjoyed everything that this post chose to be! Youtube spam is my favourite thing.

I really need to start watching Jimmy Fallon regularly. I only watch sometimes if he has someone on that I like. And I should have someone that I watch regularly. I used to watch Craig Ferguson's show like crazy but he's gotten so boring lately. *shrug*

And same here w/hoping Jimmy still does his games & things when he moves to TTS. I used to watch Conan for all his different characters but he doesn't do that anymore on the TBS show & it hasn't been the same since.
