I have also been doing a fair amount of media consumption lately: Mr. McK and I watched Avatar: The Last Airbender, which I ADORED SO MUCH OH MY GOD I LOVE IT I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT IT, so I will probably have ( Read more... )

OMG I JUST LOVE EVERYBODY SO MUCH. And SO MANY THINGS about that show are so good--great characters, great FEMALE characters, amazing worldbuilding, beautiful art, wonderful storytelling, some measure of diversity... I just love it SO SO SO SO SO MUCH. And I want MOOOOOOOOORE; I've been reading the post-series comics and I like them a lot, and I watch Legend of Korra and really enjoy that, but I just kind of want to live in the original group's world FOREVER, you know? GAH. LOVE.

A;SLDFJA;LSKFJ A;SLKDFJ ;ASLDFJK A;SLKDFJA;SLKFJA YES I SERIOUSLY JUST ADORE THEM ALL. (And HEE, I never thought of Sokka being obsessed with accessories in that light, but YES. TOTALLY.) I also love that I love Suki just as much as everybody else, even though she had way less screentime--she's amaaaaaaaaaaazing!

I really wanted ALTA to work in a "Her?" joke about Katara, that just would have been too perfect.

HEE, that would have been hilarious. And I have watched Korra! I actually watched that (and loved it) before I watched ATLA, so now I'm looking forward to re-watching and being able to fully appreciate it.

I love forever that Mae Whitman dressed up as Tim Riggins for Halloween. AND POSED WITH LUKE CAFFERTY.

UM CUCAMELON EXCUSE ME?!?!?!?!?! DAAAAMN. It would fail terribly in my climate but OH MY GOD AMAZING.

That made for a light, spicy cocktail that more whispered "tea" than shouted it, so that worked better for me.

This sounds delightful! And my mouth is LITERALLY watering at your description of the cabbage, mmmm. Thanks for the links! Always awesome to hear from you, girl :D

The cucamelons link was MOSTLY FOR YOU, I will admit! ♥ (You don't think they'd do well here? Awwwww. Sadness!)

And I think you would LOVE the cabbage. That blog has tons of great vegetarian recipes, and most of them are VERY simple, so I'm going to make a point of trying more this summer, as things come into season!

Maybe they'd be fine here, if you had a greenhouse or a super-hot spot for them? Cucumbers do well! But melons take a bit of work. You're south of me though, maybe you'd have better luck? :D
