HAPPY FRIDAY LJ. I just read Batgirl #1 (like, literally just read it, 10 minutes ago on R's iPad), but I don't know what to say about it. Some things I loved, some things I did not love, and the whole thing felt weird and familiar-yet-totally-different and I don't know how to feel about it. So I will have to give it some thought

I would HIGHLY recommend HCL, yes! And I also highly recommend that Frank make out with his microphone ALL THE TIME, which is nice, because HE ALREADY TOTALLY DOES. GODDAMN. Frank/mic is one of my favorite ships, as well!

Also, by way of a compliment: you do fantastic picspams, and also I just uploaded... *counts*... SIXTEEN of your icons, and could easily have picked a dozen more, so, um, I guess I kind of like those okay? <3

The strange thing is, I am not otherwise CRAFTY at all - I can't paint or draw and I'm so bad with scissors and COLORS, but somehow the whole endless repetition thing of knitting is AWESOME. More like settling in with a long novel than writing something....

The shawl/scarf thingy is PERFECT, seriously, I LOVE IT. And that's so interesting about the knitting thing! But I'm so impressed by how UNIFORM it is, too--I have knitted/crocheted enough to know how difficult that is, and this just looks gorgeous. And honestly, the color is absolutely perfect. Thank you again! <3

I would also like to officially declare this journal a FRANKIE PICSPAM-FRIENDLY ZONE. Just in case that is in question.

Also I feel compelled to mention that I have SO MUCH FUN with you; you are REALLY funny and smart and creative and INCREDIBLY perceptive (Z and I were just talking about that the other night, actually--you have such a way of zeroing in on the exact heart of a situation, or on the perfect detail that brings a whole insight into sharp relief, it's so awesome) and you seriously win the tribute band game FOR ALL TIME. ♥
