I did not originally come here to say this, but I did want to mention that I really enjoyed last night's NCIS. Could have used a tiny bit moar Ziva, but otherwise, total love. Abbses ( Read more... )

CAN'T LOOK AT ANY OF THE PICTURES FROM THIS STORYLINE BECAUSE I MIGHT START CRYING. *has a lot of feelings about Dick* It's just all so upsetting. And intense.

wanting to roll my eyes because seriously, DC? Was all of that really necessary?

I vote no! Like really, you need to work this hard to make Nightwing have emotional problems? NO. NO YOU DON'T. HE HAS THEM ALREADY.

SING IT, SISTER. It just all seems kind of gratuitous and upsetting. I mean, I am all for a good angsty storyline? And there are parts of it that are really well done. But wow. You don't have to kill/injure EVERYONE and EVERYTHING he loves, and then also make him HATE HIMSELF FOREVER. Boo.

They blew up his apartment building Brynn! SO UNNECESSARY.

Fun fact, I actually took a big Nightwing break before this story. Not because I knew it was coming up but because a couple issues before it started there was some bit where Dick was thinking about how wonderful everything in his life was and I was like I'M JUST GOING TO REST ON THIS FOR A WHILE.

*claps hands with glee* Yay! You've gotten up to Devin Grayson's run! I still haven't gotten around to doing more than reading scans of it, but I do have the whole thing on my harddrive and I just can't WAIT to read it. :-D

Also? I was all psyched for Young Justice this week and then it's just a repeat. Hmph. New episodes now, plz! Perhaps one in which a female character actually gets to talk?

OH GOD YES THIS. I don't think that the lack of female characters in speaking roles would have been QUITE so vexing if it wasn't for the nearly TWO MONTH gap between releasing the pilot and the new episodes. It's pretty much the only thing holding me back from fangirling it so very hardcore, because it's SO delightful, why do they have to do this one very stupid thing. :-/

Oh Dick! I just wanted to give him such a huge hug during that storyline and I love everything about this post.

The Dick/Amy rift, OTOH, is making me sad, because Amy is fucking AWESOME,

Isn't she? I really wanted more of them because she was so good for him.

maybe MRRROWR would be more appropriate

I am so looking forward to that BoP issue. Have you been reading the most recent issues? I really want to know where it is all heading.

YES. It's also kind of nice to have a woman around who really likes Dick but in a non-romantic way. I mean, I get why most of the ladies of the DCU swoon to the ground when he walks by--I do the same!--but still. Friendship is nice! :)

I am a few issues behind on BoP (my comics crack dealer keeps forgetting to bring them for me), but I really need to get caught up. I'm curious too!!

Absolutely! There really don't seem to be many of them, the only one I can think of off the top of my head is Donna Troy.

Oh, me too. I'm still walking around with hearts in my eyes for him.

(I've just friended you, I've been looking for people to share comics squee with)

YES. I looooove their friendship, too. And I think Dinah kind of goes in that category, but they don't interact much, so it's not really the same.

I think Dick Grayson tends to result in near-permanent hearteyes. Occupational hazard when one is MADE OF AWESOME? *g*

Yaaaay, sharing comics squee! \o/
