Best I can guess, it looks like an Aztec/Incan tribal something or other. I'm mildly ashamed to say that in One Hour Photo, when he was naked, I was momentarily more distracted by trying to figure out what the damn thing is than...well...naked. Then I realized he was naked and sort of forgot about the tattoo. None of which helps you, does it?
Anyway. That's my guess as to what it might be. I think if you just made it up, you wouldn't be wrong, because from what I can tell no one knows what it actually is.

Yeah, same thing happened to me during this week's Alias. My thought process went: "Ooh, bare-chested." Then, "Hey! Tattoo shot. Maybe this time I can figure out what-- {droooooool} ...boxers... {droooooool}" Yeah. Pretty much like that.

I read that on some website last night -- and blithely assumed it was an April Fool's Joke! It's real??? It just seemed so... out of nowhere, precipitated by no gossip, etc. Color me floored.
It does always seem like when one person's career suddenly takes off, basically dwarfing the other's, the marriage dissolves. But that's based solely on my speculation.
Is Michael Vartan married? (sorry, couldn't resist...)
