I put this together for china_shop's Wrap Party on Friday, but I thought I'd re-post it here in case anyone (by which I mainly mean troyswann) was interested. China requested that I compile a list of Ten Reasons That Hugh Rush Dillon Is Cool. Mmmmm, thank you! Not quite as good as seeing it in action, but very nice nonetheless! :) (It is so wrong that the only things I know of that illustrate Hugh's mad kissing skillz are things where I feel kind of guilty about objectifying him. You know? BE IN SOMETHING HAPPY, HUGH. PLEASE.)

I haven't watched that much of Durham County yet. (technical issues, bah). But, I know what you mean! It's like Callum in Whole New Thing: Hot!!! But oh man, so skeezy. But HOT!!

They need to work more on fantasy material for us.

I have not seen Whole New Thing! It's on my list, though. But yeah. I mean, Hugh's characters in DttB and DC aren't bad guys, really. (Very flawed, both of them, but not really bad.) But it's just that the subject matter is so serious, I feel kind of guilty about sitting here going "OMGSOHOT" while watching something about drug addiction or murder. You know? I managed with DC, for the most part, but I get VERY flaily about certain parts of DttB. The flirting! The grinning! The being good with elderly people and children! The REALLY HOT SEXING! *flails* (Of course, there is also the part of DC where Hugh walks by the camera wearing a sleeveless undershirt and slacks and a gun, and I sort of stopped breathing. There's also badge!porn. It's kind of unfair.)

So yes. More guilt-free fantasy material, please, guys. :D

i was re-reading this list tonight (WHICH I REALLY SHOULDN'T DO), and i don't know why it never struck me how funny it is (re #5) that he calls callum (the retard) rennie "akabillytalent." we seem to have about FOUR NAMES TOO MANY, HERE. also, hee! BILLY. &hearts i guess it never registered because that tiny passage is CHOCK FULL of gems.

in other news? HUGH, OMG, WTF? i can't...i don't...i didn't mean...i wasn't intending to...get so fascinated, ya know?

I DO know. It is one of my only bones to pick with C6D fandom: you totally hear Callum this and Paul that, so you can sort of be prepared, but NO ONE WARNED ME about Hugh! I had no defense! :)
