- Non-frivolous stuff first: R.I.P., David Halberstam. Summer of '49 was the first baseball book I ever read; my dad gave it to me and it had a lot to do with the real beginning of my life as a baseball fan, and it will always have a special place in my heart

I kind of lost track when they had a bazillion games cancelled due to the weather.

I worry for Drive's life.

Yeah, that'd be a bazillion and one, including yesterday's TORNADO postponement. Yeesh.

And via my flist today, apparently FOX has already cancelled "Drive," in their inimitable trigger-happy fashion. Fucking FOX.
