It's snowing outside, everyone! Isn't that exciting?

[Oh hello new person Bryn hasn't met yet! She's glad to see someone else is as enthusiastic as she is about this whole thing.]

I didn't even think about the fact that it's supposed to be Summer...this is so amazing! I wonder if it's normal around here...

If it is? I am liking this place a whole lot more. Snow is my favorite time of the year.

I'm so much more used to the sun but I always wished we had more of a winter. Back home it was always just rain and more rain...

[And don't mind if she switches to audio now, Bryn is searching for winter clothes like a mad woman.]

I wonder if they have any sleds or skiis or...or...what else can you do in the snow anyway?

Well, rain is good, too. But I can't imagine a winter without snow. I've always had one.

[Oh, right, that winter clothing thing. He doesn't really have to worry about that.]

Build snowmen! Or other snow sculptures! Make snow angels, have snowball fights, go ice skating.

Oh! Ice skating! I've always wanted to try that but I never had the chance...

You haven't seen any skates around have you?

[She pauses a beat, and then with just the briefest, sheepish look, Bryn gives him a smile.]

And I'm Bryn by the way. I'm so sorry I just...got caught up in things.

[She tilts her head at the video display with obvious curiosity.]

You know how to make skates? Is it easy to do?

And, uh. It is for me? My ice skates are a little more literal, though. I make them by fixing an ice blade onto shoes.

Oh my gosh, how on earth do you do that? Do you have tools or something? Would you...do you think you could make some of these ice blades for my shoes?

Not really? I can create ice, and sculpt it into shapes and stuff.

[For some reason, it's always been harder actually telling people what his mutation is, rather than just showing them, but his hesitation is only slight.]

[Bryn's intrigued by his description, and considering all of the other fantastic things people can do around here, she doesn't find it odd at all.]

[And all trace of hesitation is gone at her response. He smiles brightly.]

Wicked! Hmm. I'd say the lake, but that's kind of vague, so, I'll meet you outside the clothier's tower and we can head there together?

[And she is, considering she was inside the tower in the first place, having just bundled up in warmer clothes. She waits outside the door, looking around every so often to try and spot Bobby's approach.]

[He heads over to the tower immediately, but it still takes him a few minutes to get there. When he spots Bryn waiting outside, he waves cheerfully.]
