I think I said back on June 12 that that might be my last covid-style post for monthly diary (July being a holiday). But nope. In justice to the improving situation, I should note that I was in the office on Tuesday, and will be again next Tuesday, and so some kind of commuter routine re-establishes itself. Yay for no project o’ doom! I’m sure that’s a relief and it’s nice to have a supportive colleague.

Also pleased to hear that the parents are doing better - I’m sure it’s been very frustrating to have delays in assessments and plans of action for care.

Yes, a relief on both counts. The Doom was really getting me down. And I'm so relieved that my parents aren't so isolated now - that they are on people's radar for support, it feels much less lonely.

And I'm glad to hear your parents are doing better at the moment. Them getting their garden must have played a part, I would imagine?

My sympathies for the IT frustrations.

Yes, I think having a garden project (but someone to do it for them, largely) has really cheered them up. Especially as they are so homebound at the moment,
