Fic: In the Wolf's Mouth (Willow, PG13)

Dec 15, 2010 20:55

The ficathon has been delayed for a month, but my fic is done and I feel better when they are posted rather than lurking on the hard drive so I thought I'd post today. If you've read my Willow fic Triplicate, this is a semi-sequel, though it's more securely set in the Rulesverse than its predecessor.

I like your Willow and your world. :) (I have a very similar vision of Season 8 Willow myself!)

Ohmygod, how.. terrible sad.

“I would not advise that.” And that was Buffy, that cold, distant official voice. That had once belonged to Willow’s best friend.
The whole story I kept thinking that.. They're friends once! How did they grew so apart?

Wonderful writing, as always =)

PS: I think I manage to catch up on the Rulesverse! Yay =)

Yay! Thanks so much for reading through and commenting - it's what keeps me writing this verse.

I'm not familiar with this 'verse, but it's hard not to feel bad for Willow. There was so little of her actually there, but her friends didn't know that. It's a sad and scary situation.

Yeah, it's a difficult balance - Willow's in a place where things are very dangerous for everyone around her, and that's partly because they have asked her to take big risks. This is the tough part - but I promise she gets herself together later, with help from Oz and an OFC!

Thanks so much! I wanted to get the contrast of Willow sinking into magic and setting out on 'real life'. There are bit of this verse that show her in a better place later on; but it's never going to be easy for her to find a balance with the magic.

While I haven't read the 'verse this is set in, I must say I found it wonderfully fascinating. I liked how you pulled incorporated everyone and the Wolf, Ram, Hart, and Eagle stuff was excellent.

Thanks so much! This story pretty much stands alone, and I'm glad you could enjoyed it as such.
