I was listening to the radio the other day and heard an interview with the owner of American Apparel . The guy is a Canadian that started the company with $10k borrowed from his dad. The first time it went completely wrong and bankrupt. It's now emerged from bankruptcy and is doing something like $200M in sales this year. The link above is to ( Read more... )

Sounds like the best of both worlds... city easy to get to, but without the hassle and expense. Plus you'll spend less time going to work and back everyday.

While I used to really like American Apapral, there's also been some controversy about the owner's having sexual relationships with his staff, asmentioned here. Which is frustrating... can no company be uncontroversially good?
