I had months and months to write a thing, which I really wanted to do because it's the Sentinel anniversary this year and everything. Sorry you had to drop out of the Big Bang - but as you say, writing something you're not happy with just to say you've participated, wouldn't have made you happy.

Awww... I'm sorry you weren't feeling it! The Sentinel was one of my first fandoms, too. I didn't know it was an anniversary for the show coming up! But at least you have the other fics. :)

Sentinel was my first slash fandom, so I'm extra sentimental about it. And I still have a posted WIP that I keep wishing I could finish, because I hate that it's just hanging out there. But SGA continues to eat my brain, and it's pushing everything else out. Rodney doesn't like to share. ::grins::

I'm not really good at saying goodbye, so I'll keep clinging to Sentinel for a while I think, even if I don't write anything. My fondest dream is to finish the posted WIP I have for it, which is the only unfinished thing I have out there in the world.

Maybe if you had someone to bounce ideas off of? I know sometimes when I'm struggling, it helps to find someone and go, "This is what I have planned." And then talk it through...
