Gas prices

I was relieved when gas dipped below $3/gal a couple of weeks ago, and pleasantly surprised when they dropped to $2.94 last week. Today, it's down to $2.84.

Is this simply catering to the Labor Day travel weekend, or is this a True Trend? I find myself waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Per CNN there are predictions that it'll keep dropping closer to $2.00 over the next few months.

If true, I'll be interested to see just HOW low the prices get.

There wouldn't be an election in November with the GOP having some election problems, could there be?

Surely, you're not suggesting that the government might have a hand in actively manipulating gas prices, are you??

I hope it's a trend! We're down to $2.61/gal here in Brenham. I saw gas for $2.58/gal last weekend in Dallas. Fingers crossed!
