I usually get gas at a local PDQ. Their prices are among the lowest in the area. Yesterday, their regular unleaded was at $3.04. Today it's up to $3.19.

yeah, our's spiked yesterday too. I got gas before work at $2.93 after work that same gas station was $3.12. Sigh, when are all those pockets of fossilized dinosaurs going to dry up? Then we'll have no choice to get our ass on track for renewable energy sources (wow and I'm NOT a "tree huggin' hippie") LOL

The rumor circulating locally (ie: the office) is that oil refineries are jacking up the price based on the mere THREAT of a tropical storm hitting the area.

Why wait for a disaster when you can CREATE one based on the POSSIBILITY of a problem?

Gee, and GM & Ford wonder why their gas guzzlers aren't selling.

$500 a month payments for a vehicle that requires $200 a month in gasoline is insanity. These people aren't businessmen, they're mental patients.
