Magazine pirates! And a magazine is a thing that holds ammunition, maybe a cannon has one? So magazine pirates would fire copies of Realms of Fantasy at unsuspecting passersby, and said passersby would pick up the magazines and go, "Hey, this is awesome."

I just saved short genre fiction. Anyway, yeah, I have a 2" binder for my rejections (or 5 cm, I guess, haha). I actually could have done with a half-inch one, but I'm confident I'll fill it up... someday, anyway.

On behalf of Weird Tales, we really wish it could be otherwise -- but right now, the economies of the thing are simply not friendly to a small-press publisher. That said: We are about to begin releasing Weird Tales in electronic format, and it may be that our international readers will find the much less expensive downloadable magazine preferable...?

Thank you very much for the response, Mr. Segal. It's appreciated (and rather unexpected.) I also apologize for the strong acronym usage.

A cheaper downloadable magazine would be preferable, and I will definitely subscribe. Best of luck getting it off the ground. Can't wait.
