While it is still somewhat entertaining, the new Indiana Jones was pretty disappointing. The plot was just a bit too ridiculous. Apparently the story is an actual legend though.
Yeah, I was reading a bit about it lately. I used to have a book about one of the skulls. The most well-known appears to be an elaborate hoax.
Not sure if I want to see the movie itself.
Unfortunately, the Soviets didn't have the same kind of archaeological bent and occult interests that the Nazis had, so from that angle alone I'm already not buying it.
In the previews, there was a line where Indiana Jones made a remark that things "used to be easier", which is the sort of self-reference I was afraid this movie would be full of.
