Almost...sixteen...huh?

Is there anyone here who's got a...confusing age? You've aged mentally one way, and physically another...or something like that?

And also...I know it's bad to leave the Royal Base right now, but...Adorea, Lalamon. Saturday, do you think...I mean, I've still got the lightpost data to that place, and...it's only right.

places: tentomon's backwater village, life: suddenly grown up, places: royal base, event: birthdays, life: as a recluse, friends: adorea

Mine was confusing before, since I was chronologically younger then how I looked and acted. But that's caught up now so I don't know if it counts.

And what did you say you were, in the meantime?

Depends on if I wanted them to think I was human or not. But that was back home. Here I give my actual age, whether it matches or not.

...Another non-human. Figures. Thanks, I guess. I'll figure it out.

I agree.

Yes, it does seem only right.

Congratulations on almost being sixteen...I can't remember how old I was when I died so I don't know how old I am now either.

I'm not sure if I can be considered sixteen, especially with my memories like they are.

...We'll go tomorrow, then. Not for very long.

I had amnesia, so I had no idea how old I was, and then I went time traveling. I had no measure of time passing while I was time traveling so I don't know how long I was at it, though some people with very good handles on time have told me about two years. Once I stopped time travelling I went back to people who knew me and told me I was the age I was when I'd started so I usually roll with that (well, plus the time since then), but I look older. So it's still always a little awkward being asked how old I am.

How do you answer the question? I mean...if you feel like you're one age and you look another but you technically should be something else... What do you really say to someone?

I answer what I was told plus the time since, because there are people from my world, from my timeline here who would call me out on saying anything else.

That's me. Answer what is convenient or what is comfortable. I'm not comfortable with anything so I say what's convenient.

I guess that makes sense. Mine doesn't have to do with time travel or anything, but...I probably have only about ten years of memories, and some of those are hazy. A year and a half was...well, I wasn't conscious for. I don't think the dreams I had can be considered memories. And to top it all off, I didn't seem to physically age much.

But I don't feel right calling myself thirteen or fourteen. ...Sorry, I'm just kind of talking at you.
