As I tweeted yesterday, it was a gorgeous, gorgeous day yesterday. I started the day off in L.A. where my parents reside and took an early morning walk with my dog. What with trying to get something fixed at work, the rain, the decision to stop by TJ's on my way home and all, it was pretty much night time when I got back last night. I can not count the number of times I've turned away or forgot to pay attention only to find that Dana got away with yet another loaf of bread, numerous snacks, a chocolate cake, and one time a full 1.5 lbs of uncooked marinated tri tip ready for the BBQ. I'm sure she was especially thankful for that last.

I get ready for bed while my dog is snoozing on a corner of the bed. It's kinda cold so I'm bundled up and for some reason, she jumps off the bed just as I get in, and when I do...I find out that the warm spot she created is perfectly placed for my cold feet! Ahhhhhh!

Now that was a nice way to go to sleep...
