I absolutely agree with you. If they want to play politics then they can pay for the damn privilege. Was it the 2004 election where Rove pushed the Bush vote from the pulpit and secured a second term? I remember thinking that surely had to be unconstititional in a country that had a constitutional separation of church and state. And do not get me started on those Mormons in CA with their Proposition 8 nonsense. What part of None-of-Your-Fucking-Business do they not understand?
Re. your post about big pharma, have you ever read Ben Goldacre, author of Bad Science? He has some interesting things to say about the subject as a physician. He's also kind of awesome.
