sometime this week. Phew! Looks like it's supposed to break over the next couple of days, but it's still above 75F/25C at the moment (an hour and a half since sunset) so, meh ( Read more... )

go on the basis of murphy's law. if you pack it, you won't need it. (even wales can get hot). if you don't, you will.

let that be a warning to *anyone* on the vagaries of british weather!!!

25C is a great temp for my neck of the wodds, Northern BC. It is 15C right now. not too hot and not too cold, but supposed to be 20s this week. Have a safe trip! I think you are doing the right thing, being safe then sorry... it was like the time I went to Portland/Boring area Feb 2005/March2005, and usually it is old and rainy, but wasn't expecting temps in the 80s, so it was nice change compared to the what I experience in the frigid North!

25C is a gorgeous daytime temperature. However, when it's that temperature at night and your house is about 25-27C then it just feels muggy because you know it will go back to 90F/32C in the day :-P

Ew.. yah, experienced it. My room is considered the sauna in the summer months when it gets warmer than 25C during the day! ICK!
