I work for an employer who values people. All people. Several of my co-workers have disabilities both apparent and invisible. We have gender pay parity. It's a good place to be.
One of the best parts of working for such an employer was my onboarding diversity training. It took for granted that people are simply different from each other. It included basic etiquette for dealing with the most common disabilities and it instilled again and again that not all disabilities are visible.
That being said, my own experience with people with disabilities is limited, and your posts in this regard give me a level of awareness that I never had before. So thank you.
