This part is so short since it's the prologue.

Rain pouring down as hard as ever that morning, when Tegoshi actually wished to get some warmth, but it seemed like he wasn't able to get it because of this rain. Every bad things he had gone through happened on rainy days. Not that he hated the rain itself but he didn't like the bad memories it brought whenever the rain came. And the ritual would never be ended as the bad memories would get some additions as the time went by.

He had tried to escape from his past or even from everything, but the scar torn in his heart was too wide to be healed. Running away would only mean that the scar wouldn't get widened, nor would it be healed. Tegoshi knew that well, the only way for him to let go off his past was to re-appear and face whatever it is, but he couldn't. He was too afraid if he would get hurt again and that was why he didn't dare to take the risk.

It had been three years since its happening. It wasn't that hard for him to runaway. He had no relatives or no close friends. Well, he used to have this close friends, or even two, or even none of them. Tegoshi himself didn’t know what the relationship between him with any of them could be called with. It was such a mess.

They were ended three years ago, if they were even started at the first place. During those times… Tego was the one at fault, yeah. He kept those in minds all of this time. Perhaps he ran away just to pay his sin, or actually he was just a coward guy who didn’t even dare to face everything. Days by days, he tried to forget everything, or at least lock everything at the deepest side of his heart, but it was useless. He tried to appear as cheerful as he used to be, to start a new life in a new place with a whole new people around him, or even to make new friends, but all of them were useless. Nothing he did could change everything. Tegoshi was not a mighty God who could turn back time and re-do whatever he had been through during that time. Why did God spare his life at that time if he had to feel all of this pain, bear it even until years, and maybe until he lost his life at the end?

He had tried to end his own life a few times. Pills, knifes, guns, strings; called whatever methods you had and he had tried it all. Indeed he had almost tried it before canceling it at the last minute. He really was a coward and he admitted that. Maybe that was why God had chosen him to carry his sin until the time God had decided to finally take his life, when God considered that he had paid off all of his sins.

That was why Tegoshi hated rain. That was why he didn't like to go out whenever rain came. That was why, that was why... There were lots of reasons Tegoshi could come up with but at the end he was outside now, during a rainy day. This day was an exception and he would go outside no matter what. This was one of the ways he could do to pay for his sins, at least for today...

"Excuse me, sir. This is the bouquet and this is your change. Thank you." The flower girl said while handing a bouquet of yellow peonies to Tegoshi.

"Thank you."

Peonies, the flowers he loved, or at least that was the flower Tegoshi usually saw around his house, and they were always yellow. Why yellow? He didn’t know himself but all he knew that he should present this flower if he wanted to pay a visit at his place. Place... Hell if it could still be called a proper place.

After leaving the flower shop, Tegoshi had a short walk until he reached a black gate where he finally caught the same view again. He stopped for a while, looking around, before taking a deep breath and continuing his walk until he reached a certain spot where a tomb was lying. He bent both knees and put the bouquet on it before praying for a while. Tegoshi opened his eyes after he finished his pray and looked at the tomb with a weak smile.

"3 years, huh? How are you...?"
