Summary: Yamashita Tomohisa, the prince of the school. His crush to Nishikido Ryo lead him to meet Tat - chan or Ueda Tatsuya who is such a mysterious guy.

“So, you wanna come along?”
Jin couldn’t help but stared at the man before him. Was it for real? Kamenashi was inviting him out. After they had met at the restaurant again and talked for a while, Kame announced that he was meeting up with his friends and he asked whether Jin wanted to go with him.
“Jin?”
Jin blinked. Was Kame serious? His friends just decided to start a fight with Jin not so long ago and if it wasn’t for Kame, Jin wouldn’t be sitting here looking completely fine and unharmed.
“Ah…your friends, ne?”
Kame seemed to get what Jin was thinking and he chuckled.
“Don’t worry. I’m not going to meet them. I’m going to meet my other friends, not those who picked a fight with you.”
“Oh.” Jin scratched his head sheepishly. “Sure. I have nothing to do.”
“Great. Then, let’s go.” Kame stood up and waited for Jin to stand up too before heading out of the restaurant.
Jin again stared at Kame, confused. That guy didn’t pay the bill. Does he expect me to pay for him? Only then Jin realized that the waiter who served them didn’t leave any bill behind on the table.
He walked up to the counter and asked for the bill for his and Kame’s table.
“Oh, you don’t need to pay for that, sir.” The cashier sitting there smiled politely and replied.
“Oi, Jin what are you doing?” Kame called him from the entrance of the restaurant and Jin turned to give him a look that said ‘Isn’t that obvious, I’m trying to pay the bill.’
Kame sighed and walked back in through the glass door and over to the counter.
“You don’t have to pay. Now, let’s go. I don’t want my friends to wait for so long.” Kame grabbed Jin’s hand and then dragged the latter out of the restaurant.
When they were finally walking on the pavement, Kame slowed down so that Jin could walk normally beside him, instead of being dragged. But Kame didn’t let go of his hand and Jin didn’t mind it.
It was nice, his hand being held like that.
They spent a few minutes in silence, just walking. And Jin remembered something he had meant to ask.
“Why didn’t we need to pay the bill?”
“Huh?” Kame didn’t turn to look at him but just kept staring ahead.
“At the restaurant. The girl at the counter said I didn’t need to pay.”
“Oh that. My mother owns that place. And since you were with me, they didn’t take money.”
“Eh? Wow, I didn’t know that.”
“Because I hadn’t told you.”
No words were spoken again for a while. Looking around Jin noticed they were walking on Spain Slope (Supeinzaka). As usual, it was crowded and Jin was glad he and Kame were still holding hands.
“Ah, there they are.” Kame sped up and in that process Jin was again dragged behind him. Jin didn’t know what Kame saw with all the people around them. Maybe he had spotted his friends. Sure enough, Kame was heading to one of the many boutiques and when they were near enough, Kame let go of Jin’s hand and ran up to two men, standing near the entrance. And he practically glomped the two men who were giving their backs to him from behind.
Jin stood at the spot Kame had left him for a while. When Kame let go of his hand, he felt lost. He didn’t like it. It was like someone just took away the air he was breathing or a part of him.
He shook his head and snapped out of his thought as he walked up to the three now happily chatting guys.
“Hey?” He started.
The three turned to him and Jin gapped. Kame’s friends were Tat-chan and the Eroge guy. Jin wasn’t that surprised with Tat-chan and Kame being friends, he meant they were in the same class but that Eroge guy... Ohkura Tadayoshi…did Kame know him too?
“Akanishi Jin?” Tat-chan said. “What are you doing here?”
“I told you I’m bringing a friend of mine along.” Kame explained.
“So, Akanishi is that friend? Since when you two are friends?” Tat-chan raised a brow.
“Since I saved his pretty ass from being kicked by my gang.” Kame responded.

Then Kame continued, “Tacchon, his name is Akinishi Jin from S class.”
Tacchon nodded. “I had met him. He is a fan of me, right Akanishi-kun?”

“Are they dating?” Jin pointed a finger to the couple before them.

“It’s ok. And whether they are dating or not, it’s for them to know and you to never find out.” Kame replied, grinning wider and for the third time dragged Jin alongside him as he caught up with the other two.
“Ok, all of you take 10.”
There were a rush of movement on the school soccer field and within seconds all the students were rushing to get their water bottles.
“Hey, look here.” One of the players exclaimed pointing at the ground. The other three players surrounded him and looked, Jin was one of them.
“It’s a caterpillar.” One of them said, bored and tired.
“Shoon is right. What’s so interesting about it?” Another one added in, gulping down water from his water bottle.
“Shige is scared of them, Tesshi.” The first one who had first seen the caterpillar said.
“So?” Jin asked.
Jin didn’t get his answer as their soccer captain walked up to him and slung his arm around his shoulder, saying “What motivated you to show up at the practice today, our vice captain?”
“Nothing. Just decided to feed you poor souls with my great presence.” Jin grinned, his own water bottle in his arm.
“Anyway, I’m glad you are here, Bakanishi.” Pi smiled wholeheartedly. It was rare for Jin to show up at the practices so now Pi was thankful to whatever that had made Jin come to the practice.
“Oh look, there are two of them!” another exclamation and Pi turned to the boy.
“What is it, Notti?”
“Caterpillars, Senpai.” The said boy, the same one who had first seen the caterpillars replied, bouncing on his feet a bit excitedly.
Pi raised a brow, what was so exciting about two caterpillars on a soccer field?
Notti gestured Shoon and Tesshi to come closer and lean down so that he could whisper something.
Jin and Pi looked at their kouhais curiously. They didn’t hear what the three were whispering. But they had somewhat of an idea that it was gonna be some sick prank. Notti or Kusano of first year was well-known as a prankster.
After about a minute or so, the three broke apart, grinning widely and madly. They were almost cunning.
Kusano then, with an ice cream stick that he luckily found on the ground, picked one of the caterpillars up and ran off towards the two figures talking not too far away from them.
Tesshi took out another water bottle from one of the bags laying there and
“Akanishi-senpai, can you please help me with one thing?” Tegoshi looked up at Jin with such big puppy’s eyes.
Jin blinked, “Eh?” It was his fault for staring straight at those eyes. Now he knew he had no way out. Why me? There is Yamapi too.
“Pleasssssssssssse?” A whine with an exaggerated pout.
“Ok, what is it?”
Pi chuckled at Jin’s reluctant tone.
“Pick that caterpillar up and put it into this water bottle.”
“What?” Jin shouted. “I’m not touching that thing.”

Ah, shit! You sure live up to your name. Tegoshi Yuya was known as someone good with manipulation.
Jin had no choice but bent down, picked that caterpillar with his fingers and put it into the water bottle that Tegoshi was holding in his hand.
As soon as he was done, there were shouts and screams filling the field. Jin and Pi turned to where everyone’s attentions were and found Kusano chasing after, the ice cream stick with caterpillar still in his hand which was extended out, a frantically running and screaming boy.
“Put that THING away from me, NOTTI.” The boy ran as if his life depended on it. Or it really did because that boy was scared of caterpillars. “I’m telling you. PUT THAT THING AWAY.”
Everyone was laughing or just staring or cheering the boy to run faster.
“Shige, run, run. Don’t let Notti get you.”
Shige ran faster, it seemed like the cheering worked. But after the practice and all, how much a guy could run? It wasn’t long before he was breathing heavily while still screaming Notti to stop and put that caterpillar away. Notti was as energetic as usual. When it came to playing prank, he didn’t get tired too soon.
Yamapi decided they had had enough fun and ordered.
“Notti, stop it. Or you are gonna get punished.”
And that did it. Notti braked in his running track.
“And put that caterpillar away.” Yamapi demanded and Notti did as he was told.
That was too easy, what is Notti up to? Yamapi wondered.
And he found out soon enough. Notti was just waiting for someone to stop him or maybe trying to tire Shige out.
Shige plopped down on the ground as soon as he thought he was saved enough.
Tegoshi and Shoon ran towards Shige, a water bottle in Tesshi’s hand.
Yamapi and Jin followed, just to make sure Shige was alright.
“Ne, Shige, here drink it.” Tesshi handed the bottle. “My, you must be tired. Naughty Notti.” Tesshi said.
“Arigatou, Tesshi.” Shige mumbled as he took the bottle.
“Are you ok?” Shoon knelt down beside Shige and rubbed Shige’s shoulder.
“No.” Shige said, uncapping the bottle.
“Hey, isn’t…” Jin was cut off by Tegoshi’s glare. The bottle with caterpillar in?
Shige took the bottle to his mouth and hungrily gulped down the water and his eyes widened at what was at the bottom of the bottle and…
“Shige…Shige…” Tegoshi shook that boy.
Shige just dropped down on the ground after seeing the caterpillar and his eyes were closed now. The bottle was left forgotten on the ground near him.
“Oh gosh, he fainted.” Shoon panicked. “What should we do?”
“You guys took the prank too far.” Pi scolded as he made Tesshi to move aside so that he could carry Shige to the infirmary. He was okay with jokes and pranks but he didn’t like it when things went too far.
“Jin, go and tell the coach that Shige won’t be back for the rest of today practice.” Pi turned to Jin as he tried to piggyback Shige.
“We will come too.” Notti, Shoon and Tesshi said in unison, worries clearly written on their faces.
Pi sighed. “Sure, come along. He is your friend, after all.” That was truth; the four of them were best friends. They even joined the team together and were really great players. That was why they became regulars just in their first year.
Making way to the infirmary with the other three behind him, fussing over the fainted boy on his back, Pi couldn’t help but think about his best friends.
When he was their ages, his life was much easier and more fun. No stress, no love problems.
Will I lose my friendship with Ryo if I reveal him my feelings?

As soon as he was done, there were shouts and screams filling the field. Jin and Pi turned to where everyone’s attentions were and found Kusano chasing after, the ice cream stick with caterpillar still in his hand which was extended out, a frantically running and screaming boy.
“Put that THING away from me, NOTTI.” The boy ran as if his life depended on it. Or it really did because that boy was scared of caterpillars. “I’m telling you. PUT THAT THING AWAY.”
Everyone was laughing or just staring or cheering the boy to run faster.
“Shige, run, run. Don’t let Notti get you.”
Shige ran faster, it seemed like the cheering worked. But after the practice and all, how much a guy could run? It wasn’t long before he was breathing heavily while still screaming Notti to stop and put that caterpillar away. Notti was as energetic as usual. When it came to playing prank, he didn’t get tired too soon.
Yamapi decided they had had enough fun and ordered.
“Notti, stop it. Or you are gonna get punished.”
And that did it. Notti braked in his running track.
“And put that caterpillar away.” Yamapi demanded and Notti did as he was told.
That was too easy, what is Notti up to? Yamapi wondered.
And he found out soon enough. Notti was just waiting for someone to stop him or maybe trying to tire Shige out.
Shige plopped down on the ground as soon as he thought he was saved enough.
Tegoshi and Shoon ran towards Shige, a water bottle in Tesshi’s hand.
Yamapi and Jin followed, just to make sure Shige was alright.
“Ne, Shige, here drink it.” Tesshi handed the bottle. “My, you must be tired. Naughty Notti.” Tesshi said.
“Arigatou, Tesshi.” Shige mumbled as he took the bottle.
“Are you ok?” Shoon knelt down beside Shige and rubbed Shige’s shoulder.
“No.” Shige said, uncapping the bottle.
“Hey, isn’t…” Jin was cut off by Tegoshi’s glare. The bottle with caterpillar in?
Shige took the bottle to his mouth and hungrily gulped down the water and his eyes widened at what was at the bottom of the bottle and…
“Shige…Shige…” Tegoshi shook that boy.
Shige just dropped down on the ground after seeing the caterpillar and his eyes were closed now. The bottle was left forgotten on the ground near him.
“Oh gosh, he fainted.” Shoon panicked. “What should we do?”
“You guys took the prank too far.” Pi scolded as he made Tesshi to move aside so that he could carry Shige to the infirmary. He was okay with jokes and pranks but he didn’t like it when things went too far.
“Jin, go and tell the coach that Shige won’t be back for the rest of today practice.” Pi turned to Jin as he tried to piggyback Shige.
“We will come too.” Notti, Shoon and Tesshi said in unison, worries clearly written on their faces.
Pi sighed. “Sure, come along. He is your friend, after all.” That was truth; the four of them were best friends. They even joined the team together and were really great players. That was why they became regulars just in their first year.
Making way to the infirmary with the other three behind him, fussing over the fainted boy on his back, Pi couldn’t help but think about his best friends.
When he was their ages, his life was much easier and more fun. No stress, no love problems.
