Summary: It took place in Japan, where the rich and the poor had their own societies. There were parties everywhere for the rich. Nishikido Ryo was one of the rich people, an honorable person, the heir of a big corporation, yet he had his own family secret, an unthinkable one. Here came Ueda Tatsuya who stepped into his life, an innocent guy who did not know that his decision would bring him to a totally different world that he never imagined before.

There weren't much activities going on in the University as it was still 8 a.m., a time when most students were having their classes but Tatsuya was already in school even though he didn't have any classes. He sat at one of the desks in the library, looking through some thick literatures and journals. Tatsuya needed to submit his thesis in the next 3 weeks and he had barely done anything as something else had kept him busy lately. It wouldn't be any much different for today as he would go to Ryo's house again later when he had finished sorting the books he needed. That had become a never-ending routine Tatsuya went through lately.
As soon as he had finished whatever he needed to do at the library, Tatsuya went outside, and read one of the books he had borrowed as he walked, when suddenly a cold thing touched his shoulder from behind. Tatsuya shrieked and jumped a bit in surprise as the books he held fell to the floor. When he finally gained his composure again, Tatsuya turned around slowly and sighed in relief as he caught the sight of a familiar person. "Erika.." Tatsuya muttered his cousin's name in feigned annoyance as the said person giggled innocently.
"Tat - chan! Oh my, you are just too cute." Erika said between her giggles as she pinched her cousin's cheeks.
"E-Erika.." Tatsuya swept Erika's hand away embarrassedly. His cheeks flushed red and he turned his head around to hide. "W-What are you doing here?"
Surprisingly Erika gave up on Tatsuya's cheeks as she was trying to take something, which turned out to be her cell phone, from her hand bag. Tatsuya knew instantly that something was different about Erika. It was strange for her to give up that easily, although Tatsuya felt glad that his cheeks were finally safe, but it just felt so wrong.
“I happened to be around the area and so I thought why don't I pay a visit to my cousin." Erika suddenly said which startled Tatsuya. When he looked at Erika, a devilish smirk was formed in her face which gave Tatsuya a bad feeling. "Nee Tat - chan, you're free now, right? No more classes? Then, let's go shopping?" Erika asked and without even waiting for Tatsuya's reply, she dragged him and ignored his protests.

"You are so strange today, Erika." Tatsuya said as he blew the hot coffee in front of him. Both of them were finally taking a break after going around and buying some things. Erika in shopping mode was scary, at least for the person who accompanies her, or in the worse case the person who held her shopping bags. She could buy lots of things in one shop and she wouldn't just stop there since she would continue to look around other shops and buy things again. It was a nightmare for Tatsuya to be chosen as her victim but it would be unwise to say that he was not used to it. In fact Erika always dragged Tatsuya around almost every time she shopped. So here they were, sitting at one of the cafes after Tatsuya finally managed to convince Erika about how tired he was.
Erika didn't give any reply to Tatsuya's question, as she was indulging in her ice cream instead. She tasted a bit of the green ice cream in the bowl and hummed happily as she found that it suited to her liking. "Hmm.. This one tastes nice. Would you like to try it, Tat- chan?" Erika offered, ignoring Tatsuya's statement again.
"No, Erika. Can’t you see that I'm drinking something hot now?" Tatsuya replied while pointing at his cup with the spoon in his hand, totally forgetting that Erika ignored him.
"Aww, that's such a waste." Erika said and pouted disappointedly. She randomly mixed the ice cream with her spoon. No more words were exchanged between the two of them as both of them were too focused in their own drink and dessert, or actually the feeling between them was just too awkward until they didn’t know what to say. At least that was how Tatsuya felt.
"Nee, Tat - chan." Erika suddenly said which surprised Tatsuya who was adding some creamer to his coffee. " Ahh..It's nothing.." Erika added, confusing Tatsuya even more.
Tatsuya didn't really dare to ask further since Erika seemed to be troubled herself. He stirred the creamer into the coffee with his spoon while secretly looking at what Erika was doing. Sighing, Tatsuya opened his mouth, trying to mutter something, but he changed his mind again.
Suddenly a loud ringtone was heard from Erika's bag. Tatsuya observed how serious Erika got as she read the mail. She was frowning and that made him wonder what the mail was possibly about. Erika ate the last spoonful of her ice cream as she put her phone back to her bag before she stood up and took most of her shopping bags with both of her hands.
"Ah, sorry Tat - chan, I have to go, now. Could you send the rest of my things to my house later?" Erika gave a little bow, apologizing. Tatsuya, who had absolutely no idea of what was going on, could only nod in response which resulted in a wide smile plastered on her face. "Thank you, Tat - chan. Ahh, I’m going to Hongkong tonight, would you like me to buy you something? Ah well, just text me if you need something." Erika said in her sweet tone, sweet was the word Erika used to describe her own tone although others might not think of it in that way but no one would dare to say it straight in Princess Erika’s face.
So here Tatsuya was, alone with his still full cup of coffee, and some of Erika's shopping bags while watching her leaving hastily. But just right before she left the cafe, Erika turned back to look at Tatsuya and stared at him worriedly. "Nee Tat - chan, take care.." she said before she left the cafe without turning back again. Tatsuya was puzzled but he had no idea at all of what Erika might mean. Sighing, Tatsuya looked at his watch then left the cafe right after he had finished paying the bill. He was about to step inside his car when he suddenly felt dizzy, and lost his consciousness not long after that..

Kame was about to pay a visit to Ryo's house for some business but he found that Tatsuya accidentally left his watch at Kusano's house the previous day. That was why he decided to give him a call but his efforts were in vain as nobody answered the call. Kame thought that Tatsuya might be busy with his university's stuff so he thought he should just go straight to Ryo's house since who knows he might meet him there.
"Where are you going, Kazu - nii?" Kusano asked straightaway when Kame was about to exit his own house. Kame turned around and smiled at him. "Ryo's house. Would you like to go too, Hironori?"
Kusano nodded a few times excitedly in response and ran quickly into a room behind him. Kame chuckled as he saw how energetic Kusano was, it was as if he didn't have any problem with his heart. Kusano came out shortly after with a different set of clothes which made Kame wonder where the hell did he keep those clothes inside his house as Kame had never seen them even once. "Kazu nii-chan, let's go?" Kusano grinned widely.
Both of them finally arrived and their car stopped at the front gate of Ryo's mansion as the chauffeur informed the person behind the gate and returned immediately to the car. They almost drove inside the mansion when Kame caught sight of a strange piece of paper attached on the outside wall. Kame stepped out of the car, ignoring Kusano's questions, and took the paper from the wall. He opened it and read through it carefully then twitched his eyebrows. Kusano, who was irritated by Kame's ignorance, decided to step out of the car like Kame and tried to read the paper Kame was holding curiously. "E-Eh? U-Ueda was, was...kidnapped?" he half shouted. Kame replied nothing to Kusano's question instead he folded the paper and put it inside his pocket before returning to his car, followed by Kusano.
They reached Ryo's mansion and walked to Ryo's working room immediately. Surprisingly Jin and Pi were there too together with Ryo, might be planning who knew what. "Ah, Kazu - chan~" Jin greeted with a big grin in his face which resulted on giggles from Pi.
Kame ignored Jin's greeting and walked till he was right in front of Ryo's table, where Ryo was, and put the paper he had in his pocket on the table. Jin, who was curious of why Kame ignored him, moreover the devil Kusano didn't even throw any retort to him at all (not that he wanted it but it was strange), decided to take a peek at the paper followed by Pi. Ryo, who was sitting leisurely behind the table, only gave a short glance on that paper then glanced at Kame. "What does this mean, Kamenashi?" he asked dryly, not bothering to even read more of what was written.
Before Kame managed to reply, a loud voice was heard from Jin and Pi which seemed to have annoyed Ryo. "Shut up, Jin, Pi. Don't act like kids." he snapped in annoyance.
Jin and Pi didn't fight back to Ryo's sharp retort as usual, instead they stared at him, all panicky. "U-Ueda was kidnapped Ryo!" Pi replied in shock.
There were a few moments of silence between them until Ryo finally took the paper and read it. "So?" he asked in his usual tone, without even feeling the slight panic.
"Aren't you going to save him, Nishikido? This must have been done by your rivals. Ah, one of them must have targeted us all but Ueda - kun seemed to be the weakest amongst us all so he was the victim." Kame spoke this time, annoyed by Ryo's nonchalance.
"Hmm... Why should I?" Ryo replied which resulted on surprised gasps from the others.
Kame blinked his eyes once, twice, before staring at Ryo furiously. "You were the one who dragged him into this, and now you won't do anything while he's in danger because of you? That's so low of you, Nishikido." Kame replied in a real deep tone. "If you won't do anything about it, then I'll do it. I'll save him, in my own way.." he added before he exited Ryo's working room with Kusano behind him.
"Ah, wait, Kame - chan.." Pi said before exiting the room like Kame. Jin didn't do anything as he stayed rooted in his place. "Won't you follow them, Jin?" Ryo said, still as casually as ever.
"I know how you are, Ryo - chan.." Jin said and gave Ryo a short glance before exiting the room, leaving Ryo alone.
Jin had to run a bit as the others were already way ahead from him when he was outside. He sighed as he finally approached all them as they stood around and were probably discussing about the RESCUE-THE-BEAUTY-FROM-THE-BEAST-MISSION. "Ah Jin, you are with us..?" Pi asked.
Jin didn't reply at first and just looked to the three of them one by one then down to the floor. "Nee Kazu nii, this baka won't be any help at all, so let's leave him." Kusano said then stuck his tongue out. Jin was irritated by that so he glared at Kusano when he finally remembered what he wanted to say. "Nee Kame - chan, are you really going to go and rescue him?"
Kame tilted his head a bit as he heard Jin's question and smiled bitterly. "Someone has to. He shouldn't have been dragged into this world in the first place." Kame replied.
Jin was left dumbfounded as he heard that but somehow; somehow he knew that Ryo wouldn't just leave it like this. "Ryo would! I know that Ryo - chan would!"
"Look nii - chan, I've told you so many times. This guy's bakaness can’t be cured." Kusano said.
"I know he would, I know that! I believe in Ryo.." Jin shouted. Pi saw how Jin seemed to be so confused so he approached him and patted his back.
"Ah, maybe he would, but maybe he wouldn't." Kame suddenly said. "I can't wait for his decision, Jin." Kame replied and gave a smile before he left the mansion together with Kusano.
"Nee Jin. It seems like you have to give up on this. Ryo is just too...ignorant." Pi said while patting Jin's back but suddenly Jin shrugged his hand away and stared at him. "I know he would, Pi, I know.." he kept muttering while shaking Pi's body with his hands. I know he would...

"So, this Sakamoto guy's mansion is quite computerized, huh?" Kame said while looking at his notebook.
"Yes, I've checked it all. It wouldn't be that hard to sneak into the house though." Pi replied, looking at the notebook, "as long as you turn the electricity off."
Kame, Pi, and Kusano were now inside a car which was parked somewhere around Sakamoto's mansion, one of Ryo's supposedly rival who have kept Tatsuya this whole day. It was already late at night, the same day when they got the letter, and supposedly the same day as when Tatsuya was kidnapped. They were now getting ready to sneak into the house, to save Tatsuya.
"Eh, this guy has got some nerves ne, to kidnap one of that Nishikido Ryo's friends." Kusano commented. He was in a good condition and he managed to force Kame to bring him along.
"Shut up, Kusano. I'm helping you guys since I want to save Ueda - kun too, but I won't let you say something like that about my best friend." Pi said, glaring at Kusano. He then shifted his attention back to the notebook. "But yeah, he's not just a normal person. I guess he was angry because Ryo won the tender he has been aiming for all this time. Well, we have to be careful, I got a feeling that he's a dangerous person. Look at how he dared to put his name clearly and threatened Ryo to give the tender to him." Pi continued, still looking at the small notebook. He took a deep breath then stared at Kame. A thought had popped into his mind but he didn't really dare to ask him but it had bothered him so much, especially seeing Kame this worried. "Nee Kame, do you..." he asked but stopped as he couldn't seem to utter what he wanted to say completely.
"What, Yamashita - kun?" Kame asked.
"N-No, just ignore my question. We better continue our plan soon, right? It is almost time." Pi replied while laughing nervously. But secretly he stole a glance at Kame and sighed. Do you like Ueda, Kame - chan?
"Okay, let's go inside, now. I'll turn the electricity off immediately." Kame commanded before he stepped out of the car.
The plan went well as Kame managed to turn the electricity off according to plan and they went inside the house smoothly. One thing was strange though, there were supposedly some dogs inside this house, and yet, strangely no barks were heard. But Kame ignored that as he was focused on saving Ueda. Who knew what might have happened to him. And with that thought, Kame didn’t realize that they haven’t met even one guard yet.
They arrived at where Tatsuya supposedly was but they found nothing when they opened the door. Not long after that the alarm rang which left the three of them with no choice but to escape as soon as possible, if they didn’t want to be caught. It was quite hard to escape as the dogs finally appeared and some guards were all around the house. Fortunately Kame had anticipated this beforehand so they managed to escape from that house safely. But that was not the end of everything as they still needed to go back to where they had parked their car.
What was waiting for them when they arrived at their car was surprising.
"Yo! " Jin said, waving his hand.
"J-Jin? B-But why? "

Kame, Pi, and Kusano were now inside a car which was parked somewhere around Sakamoto's mansion, one of Ryo's supposedly rival who have kept Tatsuya this whole day. It was already late at night, the same day when they got the letter, and supposedly the same day as when Tatsuya was kidnapped. They were now getting ready to sneak into the house, to save Tatsuya.
"Eh, this guy has got some nerves ne, to kidnap one of that Nishikido Ryo's friends." Kusano commented. He was in a good condition and he managed to force Kame to bring him along.
"Shut up, Kusano. I'm helping you guys since I want to save Ueda - kun too, but I won't let you say something like that about my best friend." Pi said, glaring at Kusano. He then shifted his attention back to the notebook. "But yeah, he's not just a normal person. I guess he was angry because Ryo won the tender he has been aiming for all this time. Well, we have to be careful, I got a feeling that he's a dangerous person. Look at how he dared to put his name clearly and threatened Ryo to give the tender to him." Pi continued, still looking at the small notebook. He took a deep breath then stared at Kame. A thought had popped into his mind but he didn't really dare to ask him but it had bothered him so much, especially seeing Kame this worried. "Nee Kame, do you..." he asked but stopped as he couldn't seem to utter what he wanted to say completely.
"What, Yamashita - kun?" Kame asked.
"N-No, just ignore my question. We better continue our plan soon, right? It is almost time." Pi replied while laughing nervously. But secretly he stole a glance at Kame and sighed. Do you like Ueda, Kame - chan?
"Okay, let's go inside, now. I'll turn the electricity off immediately." Kame commanded before he stepped out of the car.
The plan went well as Kame managed to turn the electricity off according to plan and they went inside the house smoothly. One thing was strange though, there were supposedly some dogs inside this house, and yet, strangely no barks were heard. But Kame ignored that as he was focused on saving Ueda. Who knew what might have happened to him. And with that thought, Kame didn’t realize that they haven’t met even one guard yet.
They arrived at where Tatsuya supposedly was but they found nothing when they opened the door. Not long after that the alarm rang which left the three of them with no choice but to escape as soon as possible, if they didn’t want to be caught. It was quite hard to escape as the dogs finally appeared and some guards were all around the house. Fortunately Kame had anticipated this beforehand so they managed to escape from that house safely. But that was not the end of everything as they still needed to go back to where they had parked their car.
What was waiting for them when they arrived at their car was surprising.
"Yo! " Jin said, waving his hand.
"J-Jin? B-But why? "
