Well this is new

I was recording Alice tonight and when I finished I checked the tape to see how much I had left. I played the last episode I recorded and guess what? I'll tell you what it recorded them all in B&W. I recorded about 4 episodes and now I'm wishing I never deleted them from the DVR box. I've never had that happen to me before. I'm hoping it's just the ( Read more... )

That's pretty odd. At the same time it's sorta cool. Sorta reminds me of something that happened to one of my vcrs. I think I was taping Tru Calling and the sound was totally weird. I could see the video part of Tru but the sound was coming from a talk radio show or something. It wasn't that way when I was watching the show so I realized it had to be something the vcr was doing. I got into the menu and I played around with it until the volume went back to normal. Idk how the settings got screwed up like that. Maybe it's a setting problem for you? Hope you can get it fixed.

LOL sort of cool? I want my color back! :'( My plan to fix it didn't work. I guess I could check the settings, but why would anyone want a setting to have their recordings in B&W? That's just weird. If I can't find anything in the settings, I'm going to call Circuit City and see if they can help me. That's where I bought it at, except it was in California.
