So it's official. I'm a son of Eli. I filled out my matriculation card thing and the housing form. I put it off until now but it had to be done. This whole business of leaving for college has been kind of an abstract thought until now. Preparing to fill out the housing sheet made me realize that in four months i will not be living at home....

Brooks I totally agree with you. It's weird, I complain about keystone all the time but then now that the year is almost over, I'll find myself missing it (how can you not after 13 years) and wishing I'd be in Texas. Vermont may end up being a little too far for me. But you're right, why not go all out for 4 years?

Brooksie you are totally doing the right thing. Most of the people in my class applied out of state but I definitely envy those who stayed sometimes. However, being in a new environment will be a nice change (well, hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I am). And don't forget, I'm gonna be like...an hour-long train ride away, so expect we'll be visiting each other.
