please tell me why a dress shirt with long, floppy, uneven tails should be left untucked. this just looks incredibly sloppy and ridiculous. this is why they started designing button down shirts (what you call button ups - i think both are fine terms, but i grew up with the former) that have even bottom hems: so they could be left untucked and look remotely decent. although most of those seem to be designed and worn by the fratscum that throngs the meatpacking district on the weekends.
Agreed that shirts with long, floppy, uneven tails should not be left untucked. That doesn't mean they should be worn, tucked in, with jeans. Save them for trousers, slacks, dress pants, whatever you want to call them, but not for jeans.
Hey. If you don't have anything better to do tonight and feel like watching some basketball, let me know. A group of us G'town folk will be watching on M St.
thanks, unfortunately, I'll probably be at school. They're moved TVs into the cafeteria so we don't have to leave the campus to watch the game, the fuckers.
that guy is pretty much wearing my every day uniform. Though my belt is normal. I don't know what kind of macho shit your whole flist has about tucking in (remembering a t-shirt tuck-in post a while ago). If you are going to wear slimmer clothes (see your Slimane post) you might as well go forth and conquer a slimmer silhouette, with tucked in shirts.

I think he pulls of the look he's going for. And he doesn't look like a tourist dad off to see the monuments with his 3 kids.
But pulling off the look does not make him attractive. Give the boy a sandwich.
