Oversharing

I think that this has been a problem for about as long as we've had internet communities, but the problem seems worse lately. People tend to post things on the internet that I'm a little uncomfortable reading and that make me wonder if they've really thought about exactly who is reading it ( Read more... )

Like, if you read fanficrants at all, you are GUARANTEED to find tmi in the comments. It's tradition, these days.

Yes! If anyone doesn't know exactly how every single mechanical aspect of sex works (in detail), it's only because they haven't been reading FFR carefully enough.

Anyways, it is always going to be like that. I just don't pay attention to it, and I in turn do not share my personal life on Facebook.

I don't care about it enough to.

And this is exactly why I don't participate in Facebook like sites. That way when people learn stuff about me it's because they asked, not because I thought it more convenient to give all my friends (and the most of casual-in-passing acquaintances) a status update on MyFace.
